This picture has been taken on July 25th, on the Glacier du Géant (french/italian Alps, Massif du Mont-Blanc).
I called it Contrats because (be careful, that's maybe the first time that one of my title has a meaning haha!) I see in it 2 "contrast couples":
. The white of the snow and the clouds against the black of the rock,
. The perfectly (here) plat glacier against the pointed peaks.
Edit: . The softness of the fog and sharpness of the mountain ( thank you ~x-ybase !)

magnifique!!! les contrastes sont vraiment très intéressants, en effet... pour moi, la douceur et le flou de la brume sont vraiment magiques

I'd love so! But eh, days of mountaineering are counted on the fingers of a hand in a year ;) Around 5 per year max.

Yep, I live ~in Paris so the Alps mountains are 7h30 of car away. I only go there 2 or 3 weeks every summer, and there's more hiking than mountaineering.
