The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

The "versatile" one from Benro! And my filters are:
. The UV one (well, had it from the beginning)
. A CIR-PL ("polarisant" in french, I don't know if it's the same noun in english. "polarizing"? It's against the reflections on water, windows,...)
. NDx8 (grey filter, for long exposure)
The 2 are in order to take long exposition pictures (waterfalls for exemple).

& I'd like to buy a range grey filter (for the sky on mountain pictures)

Great! I actually wanted a Benro tripod, but I could not find anywhere to buy one. you have to tell me what it is like when you have used it

. The filters are good too, if you are like me then you will almost always have the CPL on. If you want a graduated ND filter you should wait until you can buy a filter system (like LEE or cokin) rather than getting a screw-on one, because with the filter system you can move the filter to suit your composition. oohh, your photos this summer are going to be so great *excited*
